Lisa Huth was born and raised in Kelowna BC Canada. She graduated from high school in 1997 and then began working at a local metal fabrication shop where she remained for four years. She gained a great deal of skill from that experience but wanted more, so she went to Okanagan College and took her welding “C” and “B” tickets. She also took instruction under Master Blacksmith Joe Delisimunivic in Vernon. Lisa took immediately to the creative options that blacksmithing provided and her work is a testament to her ability. Lisa opened MetalicArt for business in 2003 and has been busy hammering custom projects ever since!

After starting a family in 2012, Lisa and her husband starting talking about relocating to a smaller community. They both loved the Kootenays and decided that Castlegar would be their new home. So in 2015 they made the move! They are now located in the beautiful Pass Creek Valley, in-between Nelson and Castlegar.

Lisa is a work at home Mom (WAHM), so if she is not chasing after her two little boys, she is working hard in her workshop. She is available for commissions and all you have to do in order to start the process is to click the “Contact” link and let her know.
