Handcrafted metal sculptures in BC are created by Lisa using inspiration drawn from the beauty, movement, and spirit of the natural world. The graceful curves of plants, the movement of wildlife, and the intricate details found in animals are carefully observed and then transformed into artistic metal sculptures filled with character and expression.

Through traditional blacksmithing and welding techniques, natural elements are interpreted in steel and shaped into one-of-a-kind works of art. As a result, both the strength of metal and the beauty of nature are reflected in every sculpture. In addition, texture, movement, and form are thoughtfully combined to create pieces that feel visually dynamic and alive.

Many of Lisa’s metal sculptures in BC are inspired by the landscapes surrounding her rural workshop in the Kootenays. Mountains, forests, rivers, and wildlife are regularly incorporated into her artistic process. Furthermore, every sculpture is handcrafted individually, ensuring that originality and authenticity are maintained throughout each project.

Both new and recycled steel are used in the creation of Lisa’s sculptures. Because of this, additional texture, history, and character are brought into the finished artwork. Whether a sculpture is designed for a garden, ranch property, public space, private collection, or business, a lasting visual impression is intended to be created.

Wildlife sculptures, abstract metal art, and custom commissions are all welcomed. Moreover, sculptures can be designed in rustic, modern, or contemporary styles depending on the client’s vision and space.
